Brogborough runs four types of course. These are Taster, Group Taster and RYA 'Start Windsurfing' and 'Fast Forward' courses. Taster courses - when you want to try the sport for the first time, this is a good way to discover whether you like it. Taster course are run from around May to October weather permitting. The price includes the hire of wet suit, buoyancy aid and board and rig, You will be given a short period on a land simulator to learn the basics before you try it on the water. Cost is £40 for two hours, bookable weekdays, evenings or weekends. Group Taster Courses - for when you want to bring some friends and do it in a group. The price depends on the size of the group. Please email me for a price. RYA 'Start Windsurfing' courses cost £140. You need to do these courses if you really want to take windsurfing up seriously. There are two four hour lessons (two seperate days), When you will be taught all the aspects of the sport. From then on you will just need to practise, by either purchasing a board or hiring kit until you are ready to make a decision about the board and rig you really need (see hire prices) We run these RYA courses seven days a week, and the price includes wet suit, buoyancy aid, board and rig. RYA 'Fast Forward' courses are designed to follow on from the 'Start Windsurfing' course, and teach you skills that you can transfer from non-planing to planing conditions with ease.
