Membership

If you have your own kit, join Brogborough Lake and you can sail when and as much as you want. You can even store your kit onsite for a small monthly fee. SUNRISE SUNSET

It was one of those moments when rashness was my downfall. In a sudden unexplained moment of total madness I agreed to rise from my bed at an hour any decent human being would be fast asleep and to partake in the Sunrise/Sunset windsurfing event in aid of Cancer research on Sunday May 2nd

A few of us mad fools intend to rush about in the dark and with only the dawn chorus to guide us to Brogborough’s shore where we will set forth on an epic journey as the sun rises behind the clubhouse roof(this of course is the optimistic view, it may well be pissing down and blowing a gale)

ABOUT SUNRISE/SUNSET

A charity formed by windsurfers to raise cancer awareness and so promote early diagnosis and healthy lifestyles, to reduce the incidence of the disease. And through specific projects raise funds for cancer research, education and support (see Objectives in "about W4CR").

W4CR aims to increase survival rates by educating the public (through the windsurfing fraternity), with an improved understanding of cancer.
